Guerilla warfare is knowing the terrain and using it for ambushes. Ofc those teddy bears would have lost in a "normal" battle

This was honestly the biggest bs ever. I would really like a movie or series where the empire is more than a bunch of mumbling self destructing idiots

The ewoks arent Teddys. Ewoks are sneaky killers, full with muscles to survive the harsh enviroment and the tribe wars.

For those comparing it to Vietnam, etc: Vietnam: Support from other powerful nations, large, dedicated armies, guerrilla warfare in an endless battle of attrition eventually draining the oppositions will to fight. Endor: Teddies don't have intergalactic support, are physical weaker, have no weapons or technology to realistically kill a stormtrooper or their assets (nothing on this planet can kill this AT-ST vs "yeah, two wood logs should do the trick) and it's just one battle. Not a years-long battle of attrition. I understand Lucas' inspiration for this battle, but the execution is heavily flawed. I heard they originally wanted wookies, but teddy-toys sell better?

I never really believed they were that well trained, the empire conscripts people in to service, then brainwashes them, gives them armor that is only designed to stop low energy blast. With that in mind they work best as shock troopers since there is so many of them.

Well, imperial soldiers are basically forced to fight and reconducted to think that they believe in the empire. They more numbers than other thing. Although wooden arrows and stones maybe do the trick vs soldiers, but the AT-ST?? Thats fcking space whatever alloy
