Not the worst thing that happened on a show on that station. In another show of the same station called Wetten dass...? ( Wanna bet, that...?) where a contestant bet that he could jump over 5 cars with increasing lenght/height with jumping stilts. On the 4th car he made a very costly mistake and did not manage to jump over it. Kid survived but is a paraplegic now. Samuel Koch is the name of the kid, the car driver was his own father , easy to find videos on youtube. The host felt so guilty that he wanted to quit the show but due to contracts had to finish that season. The whole format got cancelled after that, the tv station tried to revive the format but people just didnt have it so the show got put to rest for good. The kid is working as an actor now, has been in some tv shows and theater. Got married to another actress and heavily supports charity groups.
