The effects of fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, an extremely rare disease which causes your muscles to turn into bone

This is the only medical condition that turns one organ system into another. The flare up starts after a injury when body tries to repair some damage, but it makes new bone growth instead. Doctors tried to operate the bone away but it only caused thicker and more profound bone growth as an answer to the surgery damage. It is all the problem of one protein that is responsible for bone growth in Fetus that usually is deactivated after bones form. Life expectancy is 40 years. In the late phases of life sufferers can move only tongue, eyes and lips. It is a horrible disease with no cure. Flies away.
