Its a matter of taste, and depending on the game you are playing and your graphics card horse power

RTX +DLSS = still 100fps on UWQHD in CP2077

Depends on the game. Something fast paced/competitive I would go for more frames. Something with a gorgeous world/atmosphere I would prefer RTX

I get better performance with RTX+DLSS than with native rendering. Also, in story driven games, that build on atmosphere like control or CP2077 it is really a great tool to make the world feel more realistic.

raytracing sucks bro. doesnt even change the way the game is played. ill be honest. if raytracing is off, you wouldnt even know after a few mins

I'm at 80-90 fps with RTX + automatic DLSS, gonna see if I can get to 144 and if there's a significant difference without RTX or with RTX and performance DLSS. Trying on a 3080

People think that ray trace a gimmick, but this is true for now. Developing a game with only ray tracing lights is much faster than what is done now. You don't have to bake in shadows in textures, multiple models can use the same assets that will look different in different occasions. Resolving the lighting for a scene is REALLY fast and everything can be changed while you're gaming for how you game.

Sadly true

Yeah.. we are not there yet for full RT and need tricks like DLSS - not enough computational power, Cyberpunk shows that completely. 10 years and problem is solved. Which should be just about the time for TES6, or a new Skyrim remake.
