The middle class is a historical fluke. It didn't exist for most of history and it will be gone soon again.

Economists making up more reasons to justify why people deserve to be poor and starve instead of fixing their fucking matter

Middle class usually already lives in their own property or pay a mortgage that will be slashed due to inflation. And they usually have relatively steady job with some investments/bonds on the side, or at least some cash or stuff to sell. They can live through a crisis. The poor will suffer the most as usual, they have the least means to cushion the blow.

I remember tvs we're almost impossible to purchase because of the prices. Walkman were practically for the rich. Home stereos were half your weeks pay. I need the sauce OP don't be gay like this.

Inflation thanks to completely fucking wreckless govt spending, bailouts, "covid relief", etc. That and you can add wreckless taxation on top of that. So between taxes and inflation, the working class is being completely fucked over.

The problem is pumping money into the economy out of a firehouse and thinking that will end with "everyone according to their need".

Oh no, as the majority of Americans work white collar jobs and we have the highest living standards in history.... sounds sad....
