I am sometimes thinking: 6 is 3+3 and 7 need 3 more for 10 so i got 3 more left so its 10+3 = 13

If you actually need this for 7+6, you are probably not very good at calculations by head

6x7 and 7x8 are always this way. for some reason, 7x7=49 is easy, but 7x8 is 49+7= 49+(1+6)= 50+6=56 (and I had to use the calculator app 3 times, to make this post work out right).
