I am sometimes thinking: 6 is 3+3 and 7 need 3 more for 10 so i got 3 more left so its 10+3 = 13

If you actually need this for 7+6, you are probably not very good at calculations by head

6x7 and 7x8 are always this way. for some reason, 7x7=49 is easy, but 7x8 is 49+7= 49+(1+6)= 50+6=56 (and I had to use the calculator app 3 times, to make this post work out right).

7 needs 3 to make 10 6- 3= 3, using that 3 make 10, add the left overs makes 13

For me it's 7 needs 3 to be 10 and then I still have 3 more so the answer is 13
