I don't get it. Dl you guys actually believe this to be a bad idea. First high value buissness travelers are very few in numbers compared to regular travelers. Next a business man that needs to go to another country for business reasons can't spend two weeks in every city just stuck in a hotel the cost to companies is too large and time wasted as well. This keeps the economy running. Plus companies he visits are supposed to by law follow all the recommendations for health, mask, distancing ect. There is a huge chance they will follow this compared to visiting aunt grey or tourist

The rules are for a very small number of people to enter the country if they will be creating or saving at least 50 jobs in the UK as a result of their trip. Basically it allows a very small number of business men to travel to compete deals etc to allow jobs to be saved. They will need to wear masks while in the country and will presumably have a test beforehand too. Its not a rich person having a holiday, its a small number of people coming to save jobs of the working man
