Source here: https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-22031074 Basically it's a simple form of machine learning, where they figured that specific brain-activities, corresponded to etc. a structure - they did this with 60% success-rate. They are not able to see or read an entire dream, and can only do it in the first stage of sleeping as of now. No mind reading or similar. Just a lot of data and simple statistics. Flies away, or something.
