Comparisons aside, I won't deny being shocked and thrilled when I saw him at the door. The whole Skywalker in The Mandalorian reveal was spoiled for me (though I was happy to see R2), so not knowing this was coming was amazing. It is things like this that make some TV shows worth watching, never mind the implications for the wider MCU.
