This is the *third* time that swimmer fainted whilst swimming on a public event. The coach knew it might happen again, that was the only reason she was in the water that quick. The lifeguard was fast enough, and adequately followed proper procedures. The only person that failed that day, was the coach. She was the one that put the life of her swimmer at risk, by letting her go in the water again, when something is clearly wrong with her. Rumors are that requests for a proper medical examination are being ignored, most likely because the coach wants to win.

Well, now that athletes are suffering from heart related injuries if not just dropping dead, perhaps a lifeguard is not so useless these days...
