Tape. Like flex tape, for tape recording maximum damage. Comes with a pencil and lots of patience.

Oh the memories...

I used a typewriter to write down the artist and song info. It was very frustrating when I typed the wrong letter. Those ninety minute Maxwell tapes usually had almost 47 minutes on each side.
