This might be controversial, but I found that having a Vegan/Veggie meal is better for this. If I have a steak I usually need a nap after, but after a vegan steak I actually feel like I could go for a run afterwards.

Ah I’ve accidentally dropped in the vegan convention lol but all jokes aside, I agree with most comments. A macro nutrient dense meal such as a salad with many vegetables and some grilled chicken will boost your serotonin levels and thus increase focus and energy whereas a fatty acid - heavy meals with fast acting carbs can spike the insulin and throw your blood sugar levels of track and cause that "bloated" feeling
