I'm at the stage of my career where I can freely choose whatever job I like best. If your company has a form for application, I will not apply.

Let’s expand the list.
If your company asks for a cover letter, I’m not applying.
If your company doesn’t post the salary on the job offer, I’m not applying.
If your company has bad financial statements, I’m not applying.
If your brand has bad notoriety, I’m not applying.
If the job offer has suspicious wordings, I’m not applying.
If your job offer talks about babyfoot etc, I’m not applying.

Depending on the size of the company and the number of applicants, by filling out the application in addition to your resume, you are aiding them in data entry, so your information is then able to be searchable and sortable in a database.
This is helpful for hiring managers to find those that meet their qualifications amongst hundreds/thousands.
It’s not to piss you off or provide a hurdle.
I’m just stating the fact of the matter, please don’t confuse that with I care about your opinion on the matter.

Cover letters are the most annoying and useless shit in todays times. Barely anyone even read it. I remember doing them like an idiot and they still asked retarted question which were told in the letter.
