I had a coworker constantly calling me handsome, and even gorgeous... Now, I ain't all that, if anything, I'm pretty fucking average... He actually did that to everyone. He was either too social, clueless, or flat out gay. I can't really be sure but I'm assuming he was trying to measure up everyone's responses to the names. It really bothered me a lot because it was a daily thing and I never showed ANY signs of liking it, even told him straight up that I hated that kind of thing. Not every dude likes to be called shit like that, especially from other dudes... It has nothing to do with toxic masculinity, like some dumbass eggs like to put it, it's all personal. Some like it, some don't. Don't generalize like some pieces of shit.
