It is very interesting... But also rather idiotic. To consider that the pygmies didnt consider that 1 pipe.. makes one note.. another can make another.. Puting them 2 side by side.. you have 2 notes when blowing.. And then you put multiple pipes together and you have an instrument.. with multiple sounds when you blow on it. Even if he does the other sound with his own voice whille blowing that one pipe... and beat his chest.. Its still simple... and lacking the interest to improve on what they have.

So we have drone techniques that play in unison, such as a bagpipe, sitar, or even Mongolian throat singing (utilizes voice/whistle harmonics in addition to the drone), but I cannot name another musical form that plays a pedal point technique through two instruments (flute and voice) with the same source (wind/breath). This shit is cool, I don't understand the hate.
