i mean... if they can create a new map for the multiplayer I'm sure they can create an entire new map for the single player which include like 10 hours or so storyline. therefore removing the need to make an entire new game with new engine and all.

I don't want to be that guy, but as far as I've seen things going MMO/online multiplayer is fhe death of a game franchise. They will literally not make any effort to come out with something new as long as they can milk their multiplayer. GTA Warcarft Fallout Diablo The Elder Scrolls (I kknow Elder Scroll VI and Diablo IV are announced, but I belive it when I see them out as a single player game)
