Jokes on you. In my city the government turns lights off after 2 hours for next 8 hours, keeps the wastage in check. I love my government. So environment friendly.

I always thought electricity is expensive but for example - i payed 32eur for it this month and I've been home the whole. Month. PC all night, wife and kids watch Tv by day. In the mean time, the water bill was 86 euros

My father in law didn't thought my wife that and now I have a problem. She often leaves lights on for hours.

I pay my parents bills, always turning off the lamps I found on. Does that make me a Dad?

A modern lightbulb uses between 10-20 watts. Where I live I pay 0.15€ per kilowatt (per thousand watts) So 300-400 hours of the light on would cost about 1€. You should however learn not to waste things. I have automatic lighting instead, turns off and on by itself.

honestly i never thought id be that kinda dad when i had kids but its so fucking true ,you don't even realise you're doing it . every night the kids leave the landing light on and shut themselves in their rooms and when i'm passing through going to the kitchen i will turn it off and bitch about it to whoever's nearest or just myself i do this multiple times a night even after asking them to turn it off . i even thought about putting a push timer socket on so it turns itself off ..it really dos just seem to be one of them things that happen to you when you become a parent .

Meanwhile I pay the internet/phone bill, they try that shit and I'll use their own spells against them.
