This is so stupid. Without a long barrel this is basically a flash bang.

I'm betting a slingshot has more force than that gun

Story time: You are a simple Ivan in a trench in Carycin, and you need a sidearm, to fall back to something if you run out of ammo for your Mosin, since you don't want the Whites to catch you with your pants down in your comfortable fighting hole. You take Mikhail's Mosin, since he's dead and won't need it anyway, cut off it's barrel, stock, skin it's reciever, and you call it a day. Now you have two Mosins, but one is shorter, lighter, and looks ridiculous, so it fits in your overcoat's pocket perfectly. Your original plan doesn't work, since they use the same ammo, but now you can tell your mates in the other trench, that technically you have a pistol, and they don't. This is how the Obrez was born... Well, not really, but since there was a shortage of pistols during the Russian Civil War, they basically just cut up Mosins to be used as pistols.

What does "You can't buy anything but a shotgun" mean? What does "Carrying loaded weapons of any type other than .22 Flaubert caliber for civils is prohibited" mean? *laughs in bald eagle*
