My profesor also suggested us to download his book. He just couldn’t send it to us via mail cause some legal agreement with printing company or sth like that.

Downloaded most books to read for years to come with lots of pain on dozens of sites and discovered these free libraries only afterward. Still donated, because I love to know that I CAN download anything there. Wonderful feeling!

We got a professor back in college about basic computer and stuff (literally basic, what is mouse, what.is software, 1011110 to hexa etc.), Who required us to buy book for the subject that he is a co-author. LMAO even wikipedia is much helpful than that shit

In our university our proffesors printed out their scripts for everyone to hand out at the first class. All relevant pages of books where either avaible as a pdf online or printed out for the appendix. Only additional learning stuff was to be bought on our own accord.

As a professor who takes a similar approach to handling how schools and publishers prey on students, I whole heartedly approve of this man (or woman or apache helicopter, who knows?), but also caution how you the student handle these professors, if we are widely publicized then we can get in alot of trouble
