They are also improving gameplay like zero gravity zones, better dismemberment, Isaac having a voice... I'm glad they're not doing a Nintendo and making a propper remake

Buying remakes ensures no new stories get told and you just get the same rehashed crap like call of duty. You buy this and you ensure no new tales or creative expression just a bit more for the future.
