The balls should also automatically home in on players who fake injury and explode on contact. I hope that's in the next upgrade.

Took them 20 years... Also why do they need a sensor inside the ball? I'm sure there are plenty of image recognition programs that can track a fking white ball in real time. Tracking white balls is like the basic training in most AI...

What about the sensor that was supposed to be implemented during the next World Cup? Is it still on or did they change their mind?

football: 1mm offside is a fault. Faking an injury being clearly recorded by a 4k camera.. nah it’s ok

uhm, why is there a big hole in the ball? i get the sensor, but that hole looks kinda impractical during the match, or?

I stopped actively following football 8 years ago, when this "offside" happened. This post hits right in the meow meow

It only took them 50 years from the moment such technology existed. Because it it NEVER about precision, it was about controversy, emotions, arguing etc. "Emotions" sell exacly like sex

This sport is turned to shit, bunch of overpaid primadonnas. More fun to see older matches with some action.
