Wow looks great, never having the dark, resting your eyes with the curtains shut. Wait so there is also a complete 24h night?

Probably only on June 21st. I experienced this once in Alaska, it really messes with your head. There's a really good Al Pacino movie called Insomnia that takes place in an Alaskan town. He's flown from out of town to try to solve a murder, but slowly goes insane because he can't sleep.

It’s because sci-fi stories that depict entire planets as having just one single biome are stupid. It’s just like how about instead of traveling to different places on Earth, they travel to different places IN SPACE, while keeping everything else exactly the same. It’s just a re-skin of air travel in real life.

You know what might contribute to the fact that it looks like another planet? Well most scenes on 'other planets' are filmed there. Tho when you think about it ... does iceland look like another planet cause of that, or do they film cause it looks like another planet? I recon it might be a bit of a loop of both.
