In 2018 was my last login....
Man, this hit me hard. I was right there in the final beta and then at the start. It was just something else. I have never seen anything like it. I almost forget to eat and drink irl. It was so good. But tbh. It kind of ended in wotlk. The story that is. That was the point when the lore that was set in motion at warcraft 3 ended and everything that came afterwards felt flat. Still, I sometimes feel the urge to get back, but the thing I’m missing is no longer there. You just have to let it go.
My friend IS the wife in the legend. Hubby playing WoW more and more. She comes out of the bedroom naked and says that tonight ANYTHING goes, nothing off limits. He takes a look at her and says that he'll just finish this raid, be right there. She goes back, waits 5 min, gets changed into pj's, goes to sleep. Divorced within 6 months.
Give the artist some credt Carbot Animations, they do amazing mini series.
Gw2 is better anyway, why bother with WoW.. paying a subscription is ridiculous, they can just sell skins or something.. if you already get forced to play because you're paying for game time, the fun goes away real quick.. unless ofc if you're really wealthy >.< but gw2 is f2p or you could pay once for the expansions to get the extra content, it's not perfect but it has a whole lot of content to enjoy and it certainly is better than WoW imo
