Starfire was too busy saving the world, that she could not save her daughter from obesitas

Lol I find both pathetic. Lonely little men crying that the 10% females in the superhero population aren't oversexualized bimboes AND content creators pushing their personal agenda onto a product or popculture.

Well, there goes the comic book industry, in the toilet. It’s no longer about having high standards for art and storytelling and hiring people that meet those standards. Now it’s about hiring weirdos to publish comics that have their idiotic agendas and their likeness drawn in them. What a way to piss off fans especially the OGs and do a de-service to the original creators of the characters.

I don't see the problem here. :/ Authors and more recently directors etc, have put themselves in their own stories for centuries. So what, just because she's not a barely dressed beautiful woman twisting her body in unrealistic poses, it stops being a good comicbook ? Whatever the intentions are behind the scenes, the only question one should ask themselves is : is the story any good ? If yes, then there is no problem. If no, then there are still good stories out there.
