As someone who has arachnophobia (fear of spiders), this is a nightmare... Goddamn big spider sailing from the ceiling right in front of you!
Put my weldiing mask on this morning, 10m into welding an enormous spider decided to crawl a cross my face, I'm not scared of spiders but my heart rate lifted somewhat.

This happened to me once too. It has nothing to do with the spider. The girl just went sober again and looked at the guy she went out with the night before. Man, that girl was fast back then... Didn't even opened the door. I still have the Willy E. Coyote-shape of her in my wall. *sad ugly noises*
dumb panicky people just voice the issue so the competent person can react, in this case "oh no, a spider!" if that was serious situation it could be a disaster
I used to have the same reaction before my mom said "they aren't doing anything harmful to you, why hurt them? " I still have a hard time dealing with the ones with hairy bodies and slightly larger legs though.
