Can we have a free consultation and review for our scientific papers as well?

I must slightly disagree with that statement. Upon publication the paper (including the figures!) is becoming the property of the journal and the reprint is copyrighted. Thus we are not allowed to send the final print to anybody. However, all the "almost final" versions we are free to share. So if we want to keep it completely kosher, we share the proof version. However, in fact I would always send the final versions to whomever asks me, because I believe the journal would not dare to object. They know that what they do borders with what many would consider immoral. So they will keep low profile, I would guess.

Meanwhile the professors in my country: "If you don't buy a book the book I wrote on the subject you won't pass. And you can't copy it, I need you to show it to me that you own it, no matter that the price is equal to both your parents salaries. Also there are some incorrect information there, so if you actually know what you are talking about on the exam I will know that you did not read my book and fail you."

Why do ppl write the currency symbol before the number? You don't read/say "That Dollar 35" you do " That 35 Dollar"

An yet, you still publish with them, cause you care for you publishing score. If you really wanted to share knowledge, you would put in on the internet and protect it with creative commons.

Without the greed of the publisher humanity would have already colonized another solar system.
