Nobody blames Europeans the same way nobody was expecting the Europeans to do the heavy lifting in Afghanistan or in NATO itself. Most of them don't even meet their treaty obligation of 2% GDP spending on defense.

I never saw anyone blaming other NATO members. However truth is, every NATO member which sent troops is equally responsible for that mess. Nothing in NATO pact says, any member, is obligated to send troops into offensive/occupation war. NATO is defensive pact per se, the fact another members of NATO sent troops is their own, free decision, us included..
