Believe it or not, I once went to month and a half vacation to my dads beach island home in a neighbor country ... and the fucking PC remained turned ON whole fucking time because Notepad stopped the shutdown process as I clicked shutdown option and walked out of my room.

Even the system fear Notepad
Given that notepad is used for modifying important windows components like dat files, and can be used for scripting, it makes sense that a shutdown won'tt finish while notepad is open on case a critical file is open for editing and could get junked, bricking windows Or not, i dunno
