Took many years to get over hearing myself on playback as a singer.

I actually have a very nice voice (even did sum dubbing over a decade ago) so I like listening to it

Since voice messages are a thing this isn't a problem anymore. I hear my own voice in one week more than in all of the 90s combined

I do sound very different than what I think but I still love it.

Only when your voice sucks. Like mine *Cries in girly voice*

If you do it enough it'll get better eventually. You're going to accept your real voice isn't the one you're hearing yourself in real time when talking, but that it's still nice in its own way.

I like the sound of my voice in recordings, I think that's rare

Captain here, or perhaps in this occasion Captain Hear: This is the same for everyone. Our voices sound about 20% deeper to us as bass frequencies are reverberating internally, in part directly through our eustachian tubes that go from the top of our throat area to the start of the inner ear and thus eardrum. These of course are not heard externally. If you've ever held your nose closed and breathed hard into it and made your ears pop then that's the eustachian tubes doing that there. You just need to get used to hearing yourself I'm sorry to say. Speech patterns can be changed with practice and recorded self-observation. Takes a bit of time however. *Flies away*

I don't like my voice when speaking foreigner language but my native is sexy as fuck.
also when I see my own face in pictures
