I consumed so much Tolkien lore this pandemic, and It truly has been a epic adventures. For those who have hard time reading longer novels/text but still want to learn about the more, check out YouTube content creators who specialize in explaining these lore. Search Tolkien/Lotr lore and you will find lots. I personally like “Geekzone” and “History of the ages”

Melkor isn't just rebel against vala but also Eru himself

For Galadriel, you forgot "took part in the kinslaying of Teleri ship elves at Aqualonde"

In place of a dark lord you would have a queen. Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the dawn. Treacherous as the Sea. Stronger than the foundations of the Earth. All shall love me and despair.

Well. poetically u can compare them. But the diference in power between them is overwhelming. Galadriels existance made some changes to the world. Morgoth's will and mind on the other hand, actually shaped the world as much as illuvatar did himself.

I used to think that Sauron was one of the worst, until I found out about Melkor. Sauron was just his sidekick...
