OK so, if anyone actually wants an easy recipe this is my grandma's puchero: Ingredients (4 plates): 1 cabbage 4 potatoes Pork (as much as you want to eat) Spearmint (two handfuls) Parsley (a small handful) Salt Recipe: Boil the pork with salt, when it's 3/4 there add the potatoes (peeled and split in half), cabbage (well washed, stem removed, split in four), spearmint and parsley (one handful of each well washed, don't chop them or select just the leaves), spearmint leaves (of the other handful). Let it boil until everything is well cooked. Once it's all cooked remove the spearmint and parsley handfuls and serve. Enjoy.

I make a "Thai chicken salad" (it's just Thai inspired American food tbh) that uses a whole head of cabbage. That's basically the only time I use fresh cabbage.

I eat leftover cabbage raw, I don't see the problem.

Sauté cabbage and mushrooms in a wok, add ground beef, top with soy sauce and red pepper. Delicious.

I just cook it for 10minutes and eat the whole thing with butter and salt. Makes me fart with great velocity the next day though

I want to make homemade sauerkraut so bad but I'm scared I'll mess it up and die. And it's pretty cheap to buy.
