I take time out of my life to save flies that are stuck behind windows. Sure, they’re gross bugs that will die in a few days anyways, but for me saving them is a minute of my life, something I’ll forget immediately after I’ve done it. For the flies, it’s life changing.

In Stellaris I cracked a planet because they don't want to do commercial pacts with me.

As great as the Lord of the RIngs movies are, I feel like these kind of wisdoms are a bit out of place. They imply a sort of grey moral area, despite your enemies being enemies.. they're still living beings that deserve a life. Except their enemies are literally armies of orcs created for the purpose of genocide... so pretty black and white overall.

Viele die leben verdienen den tod und viele die sterben verdienen das Leben. Kannst du es ihnen geben? Dann sei auch nicht so schnell mit einem Todesurteil bei der Hand. Goosebumps every time.
