I was wearing a new shirt (Carhartt button down, 70€) at a meeting. Boss: „Derp, aren’t you thankful?“ Me: „why exactly?“ B: „you have a new shirt. You only can afford that because I pay you.“ M: „you pay me because I am working here for 8h every day.“ B: „yes, if I wouldn’t pay you you couldn’t afford that shirt.“ M: „if you wouldn’t pay me I wouldn’t be here.“ B: „so you don’t like to be here?“ M: „I never said that.“ B: „what are you trying to say?“ M: „if you wouldn’t pay me I would work somewhere else. I’m not here because of your company but the digits on my bank account.“ B: „are you sure you fit in our team?“ M: „what?“

My first ever boss was a fucking monster. He loved to humiliate/slap me. but i couldn't quit because it was a school thing. (you know, two week school two week work) so i had to get the authorisation of a teacher. so of course i told them, but each time they would come, they sent him a message before so of course he becommed the perfect boss for 2 hour. i tried recording it but in the early 2000 phone where shit. so one day i just decided to quit, and when i told him and started to leave, he throw a fucking 1kg wrench to me. he missed me but it was close. biggest son of a bitch ever.
A co-worker left half a... soup? in my office's fridge for nearly 2 months. When we finally cleaned this shit out, it had grown 3 different species of fungus and 2 pre-industrial civilizations keeping a war inside. She went mad and asked everyone to apologize for "removing her property without authorization". Bitch.

i had a boss chew me out because i got too much work done in one day while he praised the other guys for getting a lot less done and he wanted to cut my pay for it
