My advice to anyone that has been either “friendzoned” by a crush or recently broken up with someone: Get some time and distance away. Give your heart a chance to heal and your mind a chance to clear. DO NOT chase after someone so much that you miss out on other opportunities for more balanced and healthy relationships. Find someone that wants to appreciate and return the love you have. I think it wonderful if you are or still want to be friends with your crush or ex-... but friendship is not one person constantly doing favours for the other and neglecting their own emotional well-being. I STRONGLY suggest trying NO contact for several weeks. Then nothing more than MAYBE 1 email once per week afterward just as general check in.
Remember, she’s not rejecting you. On a biological level she is rejecting your DNA and propagation for your bloodline. Big OOF and F my dude.
I don't even think you should contuine being friends with her because you guys hang out because you like each other, I presume can talk about anything, but not always need to see each other in a romantic way. But if she's so disgusted by that thought at all then proabaly she was just hanging around because you bring her out for dinner and drinks. Also men hang around us because they see something they like.
