Think this expiration date is for the plastic cup, like on water bottles you buy in the store.

The current trick is the 'best before' date. It just a useless date to get you to rebuy.

Salt from supermarkets has added chemical substances as iodine, thats the reason. Buy natural Kosher salt and there is none date of expire

They put dates on things like this so you throw it out and get a new one.

People who don't know that all edible things have to have an expiration date

You do understand that this is no expiration date? But rather a - until this day it can be sold without problem - date?
