Man I'm a teacher at middle school and I'm relatively young. You wouldn't believe how little knowledge the older teachers have of anything that has to do with computers. Even now that we've been teaching online for a few months. Still shit like this.

And yet these kind of people ( moms aunts or people between 40/50 years old) can still figure out how to post or send you these kind of things....

I've made the completely opposite experience. I usually have to watch the IT guy 30 minutes repeating the same steps I already did within 2 minutes before I decided to call support. I'm working in a with 90.000+ employees worldwide and the guys in our IT department have barely more knowledge than an average home user....

A friend of mine became "tech consultant" for a school. He has 0 clue about computers, but gets praised to heaven for being able to google most problems. If theres a bigger issue, he can call a hotline for actual tech support. Gets payed 18 bucks an hour, which is quite a lot when youre not living in Swiss, Scandinavia or the clown eagle continent

Yes, this isn’t even a stereotype. You’d think ppl would have some sense of technology in 2021, but most elder people never bothered trying in the last 20 years. I believe most have their sense of tech removed at birth
