Was in the Swedish military and guarded the Royal Palace/Castle It was the first time I was up there and heard there was a cat who had grewn accustomed to be given slices of ham/sausage from the guards currently guarding the palace. And was casually going from guard to guard to get some treats. Turns out the story was true and the cat was expecting food from us. So every guard filled their pockets with ham from the breakfast/nightwatch so we could give the cat. After awhile, three busloads of older japanese arrived to do tourist stuff, taking photos etc. When they came to my post, the cat arrived. I tried to look proffesional but the cat was having none of it and kept screaming at me because he wanted food. And I lost my common sense and simply squatted down to the cat infront of the japanese. He leaped onto my shoulder, I stood up and gave him some ham. After he had eaten, he proceeded to scratch against the bayonett, while I was doing the whole "unaffected" military face.
