As someone from a first world country, studying at a uni with many international students, what i hear the most is people from third world countries trying to get out, studying in a first world country and then deciding to use their expertise to go back and help their family/friends/country etc. That actually makes me pretty hopeful :)

Just remember to make sure your education will be accepted abroad or choose the country accordingly. I know a skilled worker in a field that would need him, but he'd have to restart his education here, because they don't accept what he has accomplished. He found work, but way less well paid.

been there, done that. Study hard, it's worth it, or put the tuition fee in stock market, whichever works.

In South Africa the government said if whites don't like how the country is going they can get out, then hordes of professionals immigrate and now I saw a billboard telling people to stay
