Just because a snake has no venom that doesn't mean it's harmless

Yes, because that's what I'm going to do: "Oh no a snake, is it venomous? Better check it's anus first!"

Whenever I see an 250kg and 9m long anaconda I just can think "what a harmless non venomous loser!" and walk by with a smile on my face

This identification method is probably even worst than "If you die or suffer severe symptoms of envenomation, then it's a venomous snake"

Dosnt count for every snake, The inland taipan's anal shield is undivided, and this is one of the most venomous snakes.
