Are the ads on a new free tier of Netflix? If so, great. If not, I know what a torrent is

Not a bad thing per say. It removes a barrier to entry. MMOPRGs do that all the time, the game is free to play but you can unlock the full features with a subscription, video games take that to the extreme obviously in some cases with cash shops .

If they were as cheap as Hulu, I could almost get on board. Netflix is over priced and there's no shows or movies anymore.

Ad guard works great with all streaming platforms. Just saying. https://adguard.com/en/adguard-browser-extension/overview.html

I mean, if they add the ads like they are in Amazon prime, I'm fine with that; Netflix has a problem with it's programs, they don't have a way to promote their shows other than the ones that go mainstream, the rest just get lost in the monthly drop of shows.. I hate ads and everything, but the way I found out about Westworld, The Expanse, The boys, one punch man, was through ads in streaming services...
