Dude, if you were able to live a normal life with a baby without a job for a FUCKING YEAR - i don't fucking care how toxic you job was - it was a good job that paid you a shit ton of money.

Everyone asking how to survive for a year without a job: unemployment benefits in some countries are large enough to actually live off them and continue supporting your family for that amount of time. I am sure OP just meant that they see this as one of the very few benefits of the situation we're all in. This says nothing about the pain it has caused. It certainly doesn't invalidate it. And it is true, working from home, witnessing your children grow up in real time, not just in short, strobe-like bursts of dinners and bedtimes spaced 22 h apart has been a huge benefit for many.

Yeah dude, tottaly get it. I did the same 3 months ago, now i feel like everday is a vacation while comparing it with my previuos job... life never felt better
