As an Irish person, I can confirm. Zero fucks are given about this. However some stereotypes that do low-key get on our pasty nerves: - No one says “Top of the mornin’ to ya” - Our agriculture industry isn’t run from small thatched cottages on bog land. In some ways, we’re more advanced than the US. - We’ve almost never seen a non-Irish actor do a decently-realistic Irish accent. - We’re totally fine slagging each other off. It’s great fun. You just have learn to read the room and earn the right before doing so.
