Dark Souls isn't really that hard a game in terms of mechanical difficulty. Most enemies can be avoided, cheesed, or you can learn their movesets and strafe/parry them. Its difficulty comes from the way the game oppresses you and fosters a mindset of hopeless struggle: there are parts where you are going deeper and deeper into the guts of the world, with no way out other than to navigate the warren of enemies between you and the last bonfire. It's a wonderful sense of insignificance.

I played it because people said it was hard…apparently people just suck at games now. Game isnt hard. Go play some nes games if you want a challenge

I love how people talk about how hard these games are yet only thing is basically just "not knowing". Try some old NES games if you want real challenge or go play Ninja Gaiden. If you played 1 of them, you are basically know all of them. There is nothing hard about these games.

because people arent used with the game's mechanics. once you do, its rather easy. but go play the game called ELEX and you'll die in 1~2 hits.
