Yep. Biden wasn’t exactly my first choice, but Trump had done active harm to people I care about even before COVID was a thing. If someone better runs against Biden come 2024 they’ll get my vote, but as long as the republicans continue with their reality-denying quasi-fascist approach to governance, they’re dead to me.
I’m afraid Bernie would be a lame duck. As soon as he got elected both sides of the aisle would freak out and immediately promise to do everything they could to “stop the socialist from ruining the country!!!” He’d only be able to make Presidential changes which would be immediately overturned by the next president. He’d be a lame duck.

I think it was more about starting a dialogue than it ever was about winning. Which has obviously worked; democrats are getting actual primaries, whereas Republicans getting primaried are really just seeing who will further enable Trump. Even after he helped the GOP lose control of the presidency, congress, and the senate.
