This is outrageous . It's unfair .

it's not that. It's just that teachers couldn't be arsed to be actually reading what you wrote.

Because usually those who copy are smart enough to spot your mistakes and change them, getting more grade than you. Never cheat, always work for your self

Happened to me once. The top student somehow forgot to make homework, and asked mid-tier me to copy my own, since she trusted me enough not to snitch (both with professors and other students too). She didn't change much my answers, as she had very little time. Long story short, she was awarded the usual high mark, while I got a mid-tier one. Yet knowing the truth was enough to be fully satisfied.

Dude.... got my grade for an ai paper I worked hard for the whole semester. I got B+ doing all the work and the group mates I had over each assignment didn’t contribute anything and got the same. They didn’t even care to check the git check in’s and then keep on mentioning about “grading for effort”. Just sad.
