Very relatable. I don't remember a single question of an exam the day after

"Oh come on guys, you were pressured to learn this so you would pass the finals last year and you never used this knowledge since then. How could you forget this?

I’m a teacher and totally understand if they forget. Students have so many subjects, so much homework and a lot to keep in their heads. On the other hand, teachers have the responsibility to teach them everything the curriculum dictates, which is often way too much for a short period of time. I try to implement revision lessons and students usually seem to appreciate those. That aside, sometimes you realize they forgot something very basic (on which everything else is based on), usually I then have a minor inner meltdown.

Teacher be like: "C'mon you learned this last year." Meanshile she had to look after it the previous night.

I like how teachers always have some explanation: - come on, this is 5th grade level! - or come one you learned this just last year. Basically don’t have any excuse to ever forget something.
