Ahh ha...The ol'e "We use infrared and can detect the gama rama rays to conclude the universe is a billion light years old" And there is absolutely no way to prove them wrong...just take their word for it. Also it amazes me that once a month NASA finds a habital planet 1400 light years out because it is in the "liveable zone" HAhaHAhaHA! The closest galaxy is 25,000 light years away. It would take us 32700 years to travel 1 light year. They could say anything...We found a planet and the rivers are made of craft beer with rib eye steaks that gather on the riverbanks and it wouldnt mean a mother fucking thing.
