That's the US. They artificially create a problem and media-effectively "solve" it, causing public discussion to focus on this. This way, bigger and underlying, maybe even systemic, problems don't get coverage. This is called a red herring.

I have literally not heard a single leftist talk about this like it's some sort of huge win, only right-wing moaning. So, did you consider that maybe they are doing this because they want YOU right-wingers to focus on the gender bullshit so that you can continue to be mad at made-up culture war issues instead of voting in politicians that might actually try to regulate these large corporations? Because guess what, the Republicans sure aren't gonna do it.

All chocolate is made by slaves. That's what makes it so delicious.

Psst hey Democrats, shhh, quiet down, can one of you check and see if Nancy Pelosi plans on either buying or selling Hershey stock? I'm in the Trump Fan Club and we get these newsletters about...oops, I forgot you guys hate Trump, I mean Biden Fan Club. It's for um, you know, DNC and gay stuff.

they also fired a fictional black mascot. seriously "Bens Original" sounds stupid. If you like Chocolate do what Mars did when they started and use Hershey. if you have a dog, feed them Orijen, unlike Mars dog foods there hasn't been a US recall in the past decade.

You actually thought that this virtue signalling circle jerk was ever about actually helping people? Corporations only care about profit and the vast majority of woke people only care about their image.

Break up companies that use such methods, bring the managers and owners responsible to trial, create fair trade policies that fairly compensate farmers of such raw materials, levy taxes and tariffs on non-fairly traded cocoa and such, give tax credits to fairly trade chocolate producers, create a transparent system for consumers to evaluate products in-store through a simple app according to a color coded rubric Simple demands.
