On one hand it's suspicious that the two cameras are conveniently mounted so you can clearly see the cat and the pilots reaction, on the other hand some people mount more cameras than there are on Fort Knox when doing the most mundane stuff...

According to a somewhat scientific article (they admitted themselves that the data is not clear enought, but didn't want to throw cats down heights to complete the dataset) I read the other day that cat would still have 90% survival chance (provided it recieves proper medical support afterwards) if it jumped down from there because of how quickly cats reach terminal velocity
