in a socialist system, even tho the idea is for everyone to have the same amount of money, that is an illusion. in a socialist country, the government, been less than the 1% is the one owning more than our current 1% who holds 40% of the existing wealth

The “ideal” doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a fantasy result based on people’s feelings. You don’t get to dictate what reality looks like. And yes, that CEO is easily 300x more productive than the average worker. Also, it’s only takes like $250,000 to carve out your average share of all that American wealth. I certainly don’t know about others but for many poor, first gen immigrants, this has been achievable.

This also explains rising violence. As a country becomes more unequal it also get more violent. I'd like to see this graph compared to Brazil and Norway.
